Shipping Information

Shipping Rates
We offer Ground, Expedited and Next Day shipping options to US addresses. Shipping prices are calculated once items are in your shopping cart. You can use the Shipping Quote tool to calculate your shipping fee once items are in your shopping cart. Ground shipping is 3-5 days transit to anywhere in the US. Expedited shipping is 2-3 days transit to anywhere i n the US. Next Day shipping is 1 day transit to anywhere in the US. Some addresses that are in remote areas may take 1 additional day transit time. Transit time is the time the package will take to get to you once it has left our warehouse.
During the times that we offer our FREE Economy Ground Shipping for US addresses, the transit time can be up to 10 business days. Please keep this in mind when choosing this option.
In Store Pickup (San Diego, CA)
Please choose our FREE In-Store Pickup shipping option if you are in the San Diego County area and can pick up your order from our warehouse in Eastlake (Chula Vista). Please allow 1-3 business days from the time you place your order for us to have your order ready before coming in to pick up your order. You will receive an email that your order is ready to pickup.
When will your order ship?
- All orders ship within 1-4 business days once they are complete. We also ship for the date needed for parties and during busy times, this can delay the shipping time for other orders.
- Orders with backordered items are held until the order is complete. We do not ship items separately.
- Backordered items will ship within 2 weeks. Orders with more than 3 backordered items may take longer. Upon receiving your order, we will confirm your shipping date.
Need Your Order for a Special Event?
- If you need your items for an event, please enter your event date into the comments box when placing your order or email cs@platesandnapkins.com with your order number and date needed.
- We adjust our shipping schedule to ship orders with event dates first. This information helps us ensure that you have your order in time for your event.
In Stock / Out of Stock Items
- Inventory in our store changes quickly and often throughout the day. Our systems synchronize with eachother a few times daily to update stock counts.
- It is possible for an item marked "In Stock" to in fact be "Out of Stock" at the time that you place your order. If this happens, we will email you as soon as possible to let you know.
How long will it take my order to be received once it is shipped?
- All shipments embark from our Southern California warehouse
- Ground Shipments: Arrive within 5 days from shipment.
- Expedited Shipments: Arrive within 3 days of shipment.
- Next Day Shipments: Arrive 1 day after shipment.
- Package Tracking: All shipments, regardless of method selected, are trackable using links provided in our emailed notices of shipment.
Shipping Policy
- We always try to ship at the lowest cost consistent with you receiving the merchandise by the date you specify when ordering. If you do not indicate a delivery date on your order, we will choose the lowest cost shipping method available.
- If your selected shipping method will not deliver your package by the date needed, our policy is to attempt to reach you by email to get your approval on a shipping upgrade or to disregard the delivery date specified. If we are unable to reach you by the time your order must ship, we will upgrade the shipping at your expense to meet your delivery date.
- We do not ship on major national US holidays, so allow for this when anticipating your package delivery.
International Shipping Policy
- We currently ship to Canada, Australia, Thailand, Great Britain, Ireland, Taiwan, Denmark, Italy, Germany, and Mexico. If your country is not on this list, please email cs@platesandnapkins.com to see if arrangements can be made.
- All international shipments may subject to taxes, duties & customs brokerage fees. These fees are your responsibility to pay.
